  • No app store. Caregivers install the mobile app straight from the browser.
  • Works offline. Clock in and out with no cell service. It syncs when the connection returns.
  • GPS-verified clock-in and clock-out. Clock-ins are location-checked.
  • Open shifts. Qualified caregivers see unassigned shifts and claim them from their phones.
  • Shifts on their calendar. When a shift is assigned, Nodal emails the caregiver and adds it to their Google Calendar.

Bill Medicaid, a Medicaid health plan, Medicare, the VA, or an insurance company electronically? Then federal health privacy rules almost always treat your agency as a covered health care provider, and Nodal isn’t available to those agencies right now, even for your private-pay clients.

Is Nodal finished?

Not yet. Nodal is in public beta. You can sign up and run your agency on it today, and we’re fixing issues and refining features as agencies use it. If something doesn’t work the way you expect, tell us with the Feedback button in the app and we’ll look at it quickly.

How is my data protected?

Data is encrypted at rest and in transit, each agency’s data is isolated from every other agency’s, and an audit log records every view or edit of sensitive data. Nodal is built for non-medical, private-pay agencies. It does not offer Business Associate Agreements, and if your organization needs one, we are not able to provide it at this time.

Do I need a credit card?

No. The 4-month free trial needs no credit card, no demo, and no sales call. You can sign up and start today.

What counts as an active client?

A client counts only if they had at least one completed visit that month. Someone in the hospital, on hold, or still deciding costs nothing.

How do caregivers use the app?

Caregivers install the app directly from the Nodal website on their iPhone or Android phone, with no app store needed. It works offline, so caregivers can clock in and out with no cell service, and it syncs when the connection returns.
